Meet Angela
Hello!
My name is Angela. I am a born and raised Oregonian. True story, when I was 18 years old, I needed money for college and wanted to get a tan at the same time. So, I got a job at a local garden center. I fell in love, changed my college major to Horticulture and never looked back. Over the past 15 years, I have had the pleasure of working with some of the largest and most knowledgeable industry leaders in Oregon. I have done almost everything from helping customers, displaying product, managing locations, working in growing operations, ordering new plants, and designing landscapes and floral arrangements.
After some nudging from my mentors, I decided to venture out on my own. Bridge City Blooms is a mother daughter team started by myself and my Mom, Terri. We are two obsessed gardeners turned florists that have a passion for creating experiences and memorable moments that are unique to every couple. We pride ourselves on the use of high quality, locally grown flowers ensuring the freshest product for you. We love to get to know our couples through the design process so that our designs showcase YOU and your love for one another.
Our design ethos is based around our absolute love for nature and gardening. Our sustainable creations are soft and lush and are made to only enhance their surroundings. Calm, creative and timeless is our mantra and style. As an added special touch, we include flowers that we have personally grown to make each arrangement unique.

After many years of working as a graphic designer, I retired and spent my days in the garden. When Bridge City Blooms was created I found myself at Angela’s watching her create her first wedding. It only took a cup of coffee before she put me to work! I immediately fell in love with the creative process. When I am not in the design studio or on site for your event, you can find me in the VERY early morning shopping at the Portland Flower Market (must be first in line at 4:30am) and evenings tending to seedlings in the greenhouse and flowers growing in the garden.
